Recently, Guangxi Jieshi New Energy Co., Ltd. unveiled a new wide-temperature-range automotive emergency jump-start power battery tailored to the diverse climatic conditions across different regions. Boasting exceptional adaptability to extreme environments, high reliability, and multifunctionality, this product delivers round-the-clock emergency starting solutions for vehicle owners nationwide, and has already secured orders from dealers in South China and Northwest China within its first month on the market.
The core advantage of this emergency start-up power supply lies in the “All-Range Temperature-Controlled Battery Cell Technology” independently developed by Guangxi Jieshi New Energy. By integrating a miniature temperature-control module within the battery cell and pairing it with an insulating, shock-absorbing outer casing, the battery can operate reliably across an ultra-wide temperature range of –35°C to 60°C. In low-temperature tests conducted in Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia, at –32°C, the battery was able to start a 12V gasoline vehicle on the first attempt without any preheating, and maintained over 80% of its charge even after 12 consecutive starts. Meanwhile, in high-temperature tests in Shaoguan, Guangdong, where the battery was exposed to direct sunlight at 60°C for two hours, its starting performance remained unchanged, effectively addressing the longstanding pain points of conventional emergency power supplies—difficulty starting in winter and risk of swelling in summer.
In terms of performance and specifications, the product is equipped with a 20,000 mAh high-capacity lithium-polymer battery. In addition to emergency starting, it supports multi-level output at 5V/2A, 9V/2A, and 12V/1.5A, enabling fast charging for smartphones, tablets, dashcams, and other devices to meet everyday power-replenishment needs. As for charging efficiency, it features a 60W Type-C bidirectional fast-charging port that can fully charge the battery in just 2.5 hours—30% faster than comparable products in the industry.
The safety protection system is equally comprehensive: the battery is equipped with a third-generation intelligent BMS, offering six core protection features—overcharge, overdischarge, short circuit, reverse polarity, overtemperature, and overcurrent. In addition, an innovative cell-balancing technology has been incorporated to dynamically regulate the voltage of each individual cell in real time, thereby preventing performance degradation and safety risks caused by cell inconsistency. The battery’s outer casing is made from flame-retardant PC+ABS composite material and has passed both a 1.5-meter drop test and a 100 kg compression test, providing all-round protection for safe use.
According to the product manager at Guangxi Jieshi New Energy, this wide-temperature-range emergency start-up power battery represents a key implementation of the company’s “scenario-based product strategy.” The company has already launched region-specific customized packaging and after-sales policies for Northeast China, Northwest China, South China, and other areas, and plans to further refine product details based on user feedback to enhance the overall user experience.
