Following the successful export of its parking lithium batteries, Guangxi Jieshi New Energy Co., Ltd. has once again achieved a major milestone in overseas markets: its independently developed tropical-adapted automotive emergency jump-start power supply battery has recently been officially launched in Thailand and Malaysia. Thanks to its optimized design tailored for hot, humid tropical climates, the product secured 300 orders from leading local automotive aftermarket chain brands within just two weeks of its market debut, establishing itself as a rare high-quality, domestically produced emergency power solution in the Southeast Asian market.
To better suit the tropical climate of Southeast Asia, this export-version emergency start-up power supply battery has undergone several targeted upgrades. First, at the cell level, a “high-temperature-resistant electrolyte formulation” has been adopted, raising the maximum operating temperature of the cells to 70°C and preventing performance degradation caused by electrolyte decomposition under high-temperature conditions. Second, the battery casing features a waterproof and moisture-proof structural design with an IP65 protection rating, effectively guarding against the dampness brought on by frequent rainfall in Southeast Asia; additionally, a UV-resistant coating has been applied to the exterior surface to slow down aging caused by prolonged exposure to sunlight. Finally, a built-in “intelligent cooling fan” automatically activates when the battery temperature exceeds 45°C, rapidly reducing the internal temperature to ensure continuous and stable power output.
In practical applications, when subjected to Bangkok, Thailand’s 38°C high-temperature and 85% humidity conditions, this battery was able to consecutively start a 12V gasoline vehicle 15 times without its temperature rising above 42°C—significantly lower than the 55°C upper limit for conventional emergency power supplies. Furthermore, during rainy-season testing in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the battery remained fully functional even after being splashed with rainwater, completely alleviating local users’ concerns about electrical safety in humid environments.
In terms of functional compatibility, the product supports dual-specification starting for both 12V gasoline vehicles and 24V diesel vehicles, making it suitable for mainstream passenger cars, pickup trucks, and small vans in the Southeast Asian market. It also comes with multilingual manuals and operating guides in Thai, Malay, and English to facilitate use by local customers. On the after-sales front, Guangxi Jieshi New Energy has partnered with automotive repair service providers in Bangkok, Thailand, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to establish localized after-sales service centers that offer a one-year warranty and a seven-day no-questions-asked return-and-exchange policy, thereby addressing overseas customers’ after-sales concerns.
The head of Guangxi Jieshi New Energy’s overseas market operations stated that Southeast Asia is a key region for the company’s international expansion, and the recent launch of emergency backup power batteries in overseas markets marks an important step in the company’s “full-category new-energy-product globalization strategy.” Moving forward, the company will continue to develop more localized products tailored to the climate and driving habits of different countries, thereby gradually expanding its share of the global market.
