Guangxi Jieshi New Energy Awarded “Guangxi Innovative New Energy Enterprise” Title; Lithium-Battery Technology Recognized

Recently, at the “2024 Guangxi New Energy Industry Innovation Selection” event organized by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Department of Industry and Information Technology, Guangxi Jieshi New Energy Co., Ltd. was awarded the title of “Guangxi New Energy Innovative Enterprise” in recognition of its outstanding achievements in lithium-battery technology R&D and product innovation. In addition, its independently developed “Dual-Pole Thermal Management Technology for Stationary Air-Conditioning Lithium Batteries” was named the “Annual New Energy Innovation Technology.”
As a Guangxi-based new-energy enterprise, Guangxi Jieshi New Energy has, since its inception, consistently prioritized technological innovation as its core development strategy. To date, the company has invested more than RMB 50 million in R&D and assembled a research team of over 20 seasoned industry experts, focusing on breakthroughs in technologies for stationary lithium batteries and energy-storage batteries. The “Bipolar Thermal-Control Technology” that has now been recognized is a core innovation developed by Guangxi Jieshi New Energy specifically for extreme-temperature conditions in stationary applications. By integrating independent heating and cooling modules within the battery pack and leveraging intelligent thermal-control algorithms, this technology ensures stable operation across a wide temperature range of –30°C to 60°C, thereby addressing key challenges faced by conventional lithium batteries in extreme environments, such as reduced range and failure to start.
In addition to its bipolar thermal management technology, Guangxi Jieshi New Energy has also achieved numerous breakthroughs in areas such as lithium-battery energy density enhancement, safety protection, and intelligent management. The company’s newly developed high-energy-density battery cells boast an energy density of 180 Wh/kg—15% higher than the industry average—enabling longer driving ranges within the same package volume. Furthermore, its independently developed intelligent BMS system provides real-time monitoring and precise management of battery state-of-health, which not only extends battery service life but also leverages data analytics to deliver personalized energy-use recommendations to users.
“This award is a recognition of our company’s technological innovation capabilities and, more importantly, a source of motivation for our future development,” said the General Manager of Guangxi Jieshi New Energy. Moving forward, the company will continue to increase its R&D investment, with a particular focus on breakthroughs in “fast-charging technology for lithium batteries” and “battery recycling and reuse technologies.” On the one hand, these efforts will shorten the charging time for stationary lithium batteries, further enhancing user convenience; on the other hand, they will explore full-lifecycle management of lithium batteries, thereby promoting the green and sustainable development of the new-energy industry. At the same time, the company will strengthen collaboration with universities and research institutions, establish platforms for industry–university–research cooperation, accelerate the commercialization of technological achievements, and contribute to the high-quality development of Guangxi’s new-energy sector.
