Following its debut at the “Guangxi Enterprises Go Global: Linking ASEAN” Exchange Conference, Guangxi Jieshi New Energy Co., Ltd. has once again announced a significant milestone: the company recently signed formal cooperation agreements with Vietnam’s Thuan Da Logistics Group and Thailand’s Liancheng Transport Co., Ltd. Under these agreements, the first batch of 500 lithium-battery-powered parking air-conditioning units from Guangxi Jieshi New Energy will be shipped to the ASEAN market in stages, marking the official launch of the company’s overseas expansion for its lithium-battery products.
This collaboration was initiated through in-depth matchmaking at the “Guangxi Enterprises Go Global: Linking ASEAN” exchange conference. In recent years, the logistics sector in ASEAN countries has experienced rapid growth, with a steady increase in the number of freight vehicles; however, local truck drivers continue to face challenges in accessing reliable power while parked. Traditional power-supply solutions are not only energy-intensive but also pose certain safety risks. The lithium-battery-powered parking air-conditioning systems showcased by Guangxi Jieshi New Energy quickly drew attention from logistics companies in Vietnam, Thailand, and other ASEAN nations, thanks to their outstanding features such as long endurance, broad compatibility, and robust performance in extreme environments.
The cooperation agreement stipulates that Guangxi Jieshi New Energy will supply 300 units of 8.2 kWh lithium-ion batteries for parking air conditioners to Vietnam’s Thuan Da Logistics Group, tailored for the group’s heavy-duty freight vehicles; and 200 units of 6.8 kWh products to Thailand’s Liancheng Transportation Co., Ltd., intended for urban short-haul delivery vehicles. In addition, Guangxi Jieshi New Energy will establish after-sales service centers in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and Bangkok, Thailand, staffed with qualified technical personnel, to provide local customers with one-stop services including installation guidance, fault repair, and battery maintenance, thereby addressing after-sales concerns among overseas users.
“The ASEAN market is experiencing rapid growth in demand for new-energy products, and our stationary lithium-battery solutions are well aligned with the development needs of the local logistics sector,” said the head of overseas markets at Guangxi Jieshi New Energy. In the early stages of collaboration, the company conducted localized product optimization tailored to the climatic characteristics and vehicle specifications of the ASEAN region—for example, enhancing the battery’s heat dissipation and moisture-proof performance to address Southeast Asia’s hot and humid climate, and adjusting the mounting structure to match local vehicle dimensions, thereby ensuring both compatibility and safety.
This collaboration marks a significant step for Guangxi Jieshi New Energy in expanding into overseas markets and opens up a new pathway for Guangxi-based enterprises to take their new-energy products global. According to reports, logistics companies from Malaysia, Indonesia, and other countries have already expressed interest in partnering with Guangxi Jieshi New Energy. Over the next two years, the company plans to exceed 5,000 units in sales of its stationary lithium-battery products in the ASEAN market, gradually establishing a marketing and service network that covers key Southeast Asian nations and promoting the widespread adoption of Chinese new-energy technologies and products across the ASEAN region.
